Paper tole superstore for papertole, 3d arts, decoupage, and crafts.
Our Studio and Exhibition
By Amy Chen

Paper toling originated in Europe around the seventeen century, when
papier-mâché and decoupage were quite popular. Prints from a favorite
painting are chosen, sections are then cut out, shaped, layered, and
glued to create a three-dimensional picture. The finished product,
called paper tole, is then varnished and mounted in a frame or shadowed
box, turning it into a masterpiece which can be more realistic and
livelier than the original.
I have worked in this area of paper tole for a number of years now,
first in Taiwan around 1991, then in Los Angeles where my studio is
located. My students come from all walks of life: homemakers,
professionals, Asians, Westerners... They all share a common goal, to
create exceptionally beautiful paper tole. Since I have been in this
business for so long, I have accumulated a huge collections of papertole
prints from various artists. In the spring of 2005, I have started
selling them online to customers like you. Besides having thousands of
different papertole designs at low, low prices, our website is
extremely user-friendly. So please take a look and be amazed.
